Prerequisite: For dogs 3 months and older, new handlers and handlers with prior show handling experience This program teaches you how to prepare your dog for the show ring and how to handle him to perfection. We will teach you how to enter your dog in shows, how to read a judging program and what you need to do when you get to the show. You will learn the basic skills of hand stacking and free stacking your dog in addition to mastering the basic skills of gaiting your dog properly for all the various judging patterns. Also included will be discussions on how to present yourself professionally in and out of the ring with knowledge of proper show etiquette. Practice rings are provided both inside and outside training areas. This class is available as a group class. We also offer private instruction as well
